With the current evolution of the internet and how much it has changed our daily lives, one of the most common questions asked by real estate agents is "will technology replace real estate agents"?

Being a real estate agent day in, day out in New York City, I can truly say that I do not believe technology will replace real estate agents. Think about how the evolution has changed your life, has it eliminated industries or has it just enhanced how we get the job done by eliminating tedious tasks?

Yes, we have Zillow, Trulia and Realtor.com to search for homes and compare prices, we have property shark to look into the details of a property but at the end of the day that personal connection that is needed when doing one of the most important purchases is missing.

I mean think about, if you just got arrested and had to go to court to defend yourself against the charges, yes you could easily Google the charges brought up against you and you can research the results of similar previous cases, but at the end of the day you will still look for a professional attorney to represent you in court, why is that?

And here you are about to put all of your savings or at least a large percentage of it on a down payment for the new house or maybe thinking your selling your very expensive condo in NYC and thinking of doing this all alone with no professional help! I mean I totally know that not all brokers provide the same level of service but that's why you avoid the court appointed attorney and hire your own!

I never really understood this and would love to hear your thoughts about this, Please Explain!
