#SmartHomeTechTuesday: Smart Phone Controlled Air Freshener - AERA

So, you know I always try to pick out a piece of technology that can change the experience for my clients in their home, whether it's a brand new development or an apartment that you have been living in all your life.

Now, I know you have heard about iPhone controlled window shades, light bulbs (you can read my blog post about Smart Bulbs here) and temperature systems like Nest.

Boring!

This week I found out about a air freshener that you can control all from your iPhone, it's called the AERA Fragrance. Of course, there is so much more to say than just that you can control it with your iPhone.

The device can transform a space that is up to 2,000 SqFt so if you have a massive loft in SoHo or a mansion townhouse in the West Village this would work great.

In addition, you could also schedule your fragrance time from your phone, so now you can always be greeted with a brand new smell every time you walk in home from work. You could also monitor the fragrance and air in the room, in addition to controlling multiple devices from one phone.

The AERA is labeled as The Most Eco-Friendly air freshener in the market right now, they also have a fragrance profile test you can take in order to find the perfect fragrance for your home or you could just order them without taking the test!
